Who we are
Our website address is: https://spectrumenterprisescic.uk.
As a small business, we respect the privacy of everyone we come into contact with, both in person, online or in writing. Any personal details you choose to share with us are only collected with your explicit consent. We never share, sell or otherwise distribute your details with any third party.
In this policy, ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘our’ means Spectrum Enterprises CIC, based at Field House, Ovington Road, Ovingham, NE42 6DF, and ‘you’ means the individual to whom the information relates.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Your name, your contact information such as your mailing address, email address or telephone number when browsing our site, your IP address, your browser type and language.
This is to carry out our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us, for direct communication with you, administer our site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes, for security and to check your identity.
We will keep all your personal and employment related information safe. It will not be shared with anyone without your permission. Our Mentors, Supervisors/Job Coaches and other workers will tell you why Spectrum Enterprises needs to ask you for specific information, how it will be used, how it will be stored and when it will be destroyed.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Your use of the forms on our website (eg. the contact us section). Your personal data such as name, email, subject and message are captured when you submit a contact form. The contact form submissions are kept for a certain period for customer service purposes but do not use the information submitted for any marketing purposes.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
Except as expressly set out in this policy we will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
The personal information you provide to us may be shared with third party companies, agents, contractors, service providers or affiliated companies if this is necessary to provide you with access to our services, respond to your inquiries or for any of the purposes described in this policy.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
We will only keep the information we collect about you for as long as required for the purposes set out above or as required to comply with any legal obligations to which we are subject. This will involve us periodically reviewing our files to check that information is accurate, up-to-date and still required.
Where we are permitted to send you direct marketing communications we may retain your contact information necessary for this purpose, for as long as you do not unsubscribe from receiving the same from us. If you opt out from marketing, we will erase your details from our database to the best of our ability.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Any request from you for access to or a copy of your personal data must be in writing and we will endeavour to respond within a reasonable period and in any event within one month in compliance with data protection legislation.
We will comply with our legal obligations as regards your rights as a data subject.
