Gloria Watson is next under the Spectrum Spotlight, to tell us all about her GLORIOUS scented products!
Gloria is the name behind ‘Glorious – Socially-Conscious Scents’. Now up and running from her home on the beautiful north east coast, it’s not been an easy path to get here.
In later life Gloria was diagnosed with Aspergers. Having previously run her own business, she found that juggling it with family life, her ongoing health problems and volunteer charity work was a real struggle. This was particularly challenging as both Gloria’s children also have autism and additional needs.
However, Gloria’s friend Malcolm, whom she has known for years through the work he has done for people with autism, put her in touch with Spectrum Enterprises CIC and she’s not looked back!
Gloria’s range of luxury scented home and body products reflects her own values. The provenance and quality of ingredients is hugely important and each item is handmade, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Sustainability and the environmental aspect of her business are particularly important to Gloria so she uses recyclable, biodegradable packaging for her products wherever possible.

‘’I’ve been volunteering in the charitable sector for some time, and felt strongly that my business should not stop me from doing my bit for others. That’s why I decided to donate a portion of my proceeds to charity, making Glorious Scents truly ‘socially-conscious’. I’m a big pet lover, so my chosen charity is Dogs For Good, who I support via Work for Good’’.
Gloria’s house always smells delicious – whether it’s Lime, Basil and Mandarin or Pink Peppercorn and Rose, there’s always a waft of Glorious scent coming from her workshop as she painstakingly tests her products to ensure they are of the highest quality. She won’t put her name to anything less!

Her eco-candles, wax melts and body washes and lotions are all deliciously scented with a range of luxury fragrances. Perfect gifts but also perfect treats for yourself! Gloria also offers corporate gifts and gift sets as well as refills.
Gloria is currently working on her new website with another of our Spectrum mentees, Nathan Chan of Sifu Geek, who’s a computer whizz.
